Non U-M participants traveling on U-M business may use this travel registry.
Non U-M users without a U-M uniqname and password, can create an external account using an email address. Click on the 'Start Here' link to create an account. | |
Enter your email address, name, and desired password. Then, click on the 'Create my Account' button. | |
Once your Non U-M account is created, return to the Travel Registry login page and the email address login option. |
1. The first time you log into the Travel Registry, you will land on your account profile page. Before you can register a trip, you must complete your profile by providing a Home-Country Mobile Number.

2. In the Contact Information pane, in the Home-Country Mobile number section, select the country code from the picklist and enter your mobile phone number.

3. Save changes by clicking on the 'Save' button in the upper-right corner of the page.

1. After logging in, click the 'Add New Trip' button Note: First time users are required to complete their profile before creating trips. |

2. complete the trip header by entering a trip name, a short description, select a reason for travel, then enter the destination and travel dates. Use the 'Add Destination' button to enter additional locations. Note: Airport, transfer and other interim locations are not required. List the destination where the traveler will be working and/or staying overnight. When the trip header is complete, click the 'Done' button |

3. Click the 'Get Started' button to fill out the Registration form, which is required for all trips. | |
4. Complete the questions on the Registration form, then click the 'Next' arrow to view Essential Content | |
5. The Essential Content page contains U-M Travel Abroad health insurance information, as well as country intelligence and risk levels based on your trip destination/s. Note: The contents of this page will vary based on traveler location and the reason for travel. |

6. Optional: The Itinerary page allows you to enter airline, flight number/s, airport arrival/departure, and accommodations information. |

7. Optional: The people icon allows you to enter the names and relationships of personal travel companions. Companion information may also be entered on the registration form. Note: Do not add U-M faculty, staff, or student companions in this section. Each U-M individual should have their own registration. |

8. After completing all sections of your trip registration, click the 'Save and Finish' button. This will generate a trip confirmation receipt, as well as any related country warning/restricted messages related to U-M business travel. | |
9. Click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to logout. |
To modify an upcoming trip, login into the Travel Registry. From the My Trips page, in the 'Upcoming Trips' pane, click on the 3 dots menu and choose 'Edit'. | |
To change the City or Dates of your itinerary, click on the dates on the itinerary bar. | |
This toggles the itinerary bar into edit mode, where you can modify the City, Country and/or Start and End dates. | |
To add an itinerary leg, click on the blue plus sign icon to open the itinerary editor. | |
To add or edit airline, transit or lodging details, expand the arrow on an itinerary leg. | |
When modifications are complete, click the 'Save and Finish' button, then log out of the Travel Registry. |
To delete an upcoming trip, login into the Travel Registry. From the My Trips page, in the 'Upcoming Trips' pane, click on the 3 dots menu and choose 'Delete'. | |
In the 'Delete trip' pane, select a reason, then click the 'Delete' button. |
To view U-M Travel Abroad Health Insurance information within your trip registration, log into the Travel Registry and open your trip for edit. Click on the 'Essential Content' link, then expand the U-M Travel Abroad Health Insurance bars to view details. |

To view U.S. Department of State regional risk information, expand the DOS Regional Risk bar to see applicable regional risk information. |
